Because of their solid mountings, they resist vibration which gives a clear image of the traffic behind, allowing safe overtaking. They also fold completely back and sit snugly within the door line keeping them safe from other traffic while parked by the roadside.
The mirrors are electrically powered, have superb heated glass, and have a much up-dated version of the original motor drive unit. This gives a virtually silent operation and keeps the job of connecting them to the existing wiring harness simple and easy.
